Arknights: Endfield Controller Support & FAQ

Dear Endministrator,

Thank you for your interest and support for the game. To help you enjoy smoother gameplay with a controller, we've compiled information on controller support, connection methods, and frequently asked questions in the current version. Please read the following carefully before use to ensure the best possible gaming experience.


Supported Controllers in the Current Version


PC & Mobile Devices:

- PlayStation®: PS5® (DualSense® wireless controller, DualSense Edge™ wireless controller), PS4® (DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller)

- Xbox: Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Elite Wireless Controller

*Note: Using third-party controllers may result in some compatibility issues.


Q: How do I connect a controller to PC & mobile devices?

A: Both PC and mobile devices support the following two connection methods:

1. USB Wired Connection

Connect the controller directly to your device using a USB cable.

2. Bluetooth Wireless Connection

For devices with Bluetooth support, enable Bluetooth and pair with your controller. If your PC does not support Bluetooth natively, you can use an external Bluetooth adapter.

*Note: To ensure the best gameplay experience, it is recommended to use a wired connection when playing on PC with DualSense® or DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controllers.


Q: How do I use a controller in-game?

A: Once your device is successfully connected to a controller and the game is launched:

- At the login screen, any controller input will automatically switch the interface to the controller UI layout.

- During gameplay, in most scenarios, pressing any controller button will bring up a prompt asking if you want to switch to controller input. Confirming the prompt will enable full controller gameplay.

- While in the controller UI layout, pressing any keyboard key or tapping the touchscreen will trigger a prompt to switch back to the original input layout.


The following scenarios do not support switching input layouts:

- Operator selection/naming screens

- Tutorial sequences

- Character dialogues or story cutscenes

- Certain battle scenes/simulations


Q: How do I input text in-game using a controller?

- PC: After activating a text input field, use the keyboard to enter text

- Mobile/PlayStation: After activating a text input field, use the system's on-screen keyboard to enter text


Q: Besides PlayStation®5, does the DualSense wireless controller support full functionality on other platforms?

A: On non-PS5 platforms, to experience the full functionality of the DualSense®/DualSense Edge™/DUALSHOCK®4, a wired connection is recommended. When using a Bluetooth wireless connection:

- Only adaptive triggers are supported

- Vibration and controller speaker functions are not supported


Official Xbox Controllers:

- PC: Full functionality is supported via both Bluetooth and wired connections

- Mobile: When connected via Bluetooth, controller vibration and impulse trigger functionality are not supported


Q: Can controller vibration function be turned off?

- Controller vibration and adaptive trigger features can be enabled or disabled in Settings → Controls

- The controller speaker function can be configured in Settings → Audio

Note: When connecting a DualSense® wireless controller to a PC, the system may automatically switch the audio output device to the controller by default. If this occurs, please click the system speaker icon and manually switch back to your preferred audio output device.
