Arknights: Endfield [Sketches of Lost Heirlooms] Version DEV Comm

Dear Endministrator,

This is the Arknights: Endfield Team.

Since the launch of the [At the Wake of Spring] version, your support has given us immense encouragement and reinforced our belief that every practical optimization can genuinely improve your gaming experience. Through this DEV Comm, we would like to share the major optimizations and adjustments that will be made in the [Sketches of Lost Heirlooms] version.


AIC Factory & Regional Development Improvements

· New [Backup Power] Feature: If a region runs out of power when you're playing, its backup power will automatically activate to temporarily supply unlimited electricity to all facilities, maximizing AIC uptime. The backup power will drain after running for a period of time, after which it requires a cooldown period to recharge. You can use [Backup Power] as a buffer while adjusting your power layout and overhaul the power grid before it runs out. Alternatively, you can choose to disable the auto-activation and turn it on manually when power is depleted.


· New [Regional Overview] Feature: A new [Regional Overview] feature has been added to the [Regional Development] screen, providing an overview of current information in the Regional Development System, including [Stock Redistribution] and [Depot Node], while allowing you to quickly view their locations on the map. For instance, you can directly check the current level and upgrade costs of a [Stock Redistribution Terminal], then jump straight to the map and view its location. Similarly, when purchasables are about to reach the limit, you can click the corresponding reminder to jump straight to the [Stock Redistribution] screen and make a trade.


· New Expanded Crucible Feature [Multi-Clog Auto-Fix]: When the [Expanded Crucible] is running multiple production formulas, if all of these formulas are clogged, the [Expanded Crucible] will automatically remove all items from the cache to ensure that reactions proceed normally. This option is enabled by default, and its status will be saved along with the blueprint.

· Wuling Power Connection Optimization: The [Xiranite Pylons] and [Xiranite Relays] within the Core AIC Area can be connected to outer Xiranite facilities.

· Grid Display Effect Optimization: Optimized the grid display effect when placing facilities in transition zones between steep slopes / cliffs and flat ground.


Mission Experience Improvements

· Mission Priority and Display Optimization: In the mission list, operator side missions related to the current narrative event will be prioritized and marked with a [Recommended] tag, helping you identify mission priorities more clearly.

· Daily Task Adjustments:

To further reduce the burden, we have increased the Activity Points that can be earned from certain Daily Tasks, simplified the completion requirements for some Daily Tasks, and added new types of Daily Tasks based on your daily play habits.

○ Upon completing the [Spend 60 Sanity points] and [Spend 120 Sanity points] tasks, the Activity Points awarded for each will be increased from 10 to 20.

○ The [Defeat 20 enemies] task has been changed to [Defeat 10 enemies], with the Activity Points awarded upon completion remaining unchanged.

○ Added 2 new tasks: [In Dijiang, claim any cabin products or clues 1 time] and [Purchase elastic goods in any Stock Redistribution site 1 time]. Upon completion, each task will award 20 Activity Points.


Interactions and Quality-of-Life Improvements

· New Gear Artificing [Auto-Fill] Feature: When artificing gear, you can bulk-select multiple pieces of unartificed gear as the artificing materials according to a default sequence, then have artificing continue until it succeeds, reducing repetitive actions. If the artificing succeeds early, any unused gear and Gear Artificing Catalysts will be automatically returned.


· New [Weapon Batch Dismantling and Lock Management Features]:

○ Batch Dismantling: In the [Valuables Stash], you can now batch dismantle unwanted non-6★ weapons into weapon progression materials. When an attempt of [Arsenal Issue] causes the number of weapons in the [Valuables Stash] to exceed the limit, a pop-up prompt will appear, allowing you to quickly jump to the [Valuables Stash] to dismantle weapons.

○ Lock Management: You can lock or unlock all 5★ weapons with a single click, or unlock excess 5★ weapons beyond the amount needed for max potential with a single click, preventing accidental dismantling of your favorite weapons.

· Weapon Essence Acquisition Optimization: Added a new [Essence Wishlist] feature, which unlocks at Exploration Level 4. You can open the wishlist in the Severe Energy Alluvium challenge screen or [Valuables Stash - Essences] and select multiple weapons. When an acquired [Flawless Essence] matches all stats of any weapon selected in the wishlist, the essence will be automatically locked and marked as a [Perfect Match].

· Off-Screen Enemy Attack Warning Optimization: Added visual warning effects for attacks from off-screen enemies, making it easier to identify threats and dodge when fighting large groups of enemies.


· Combat Lock-On Optimization: Optimized the indicator when switching locked targets, making the currently locked target easier to distinguish.


· New Return Option After Visiting Friends: Added a [Return to Dijiang] option after ending a friend visit, which allows you to return to your own Dijiang.


Optimization Content Still in Development

Subsequent versions are also under active development, with more optimizations and new features expected to be implemented in future version updates.

Here is an early preview of some planned content.

· Camera System Optimization: Added custom operator photo poses and positioning. When taking photos, you can now freely move the operators currently on the field and designate their poses.

· Story Dialogue Experience Optimization: Added definitions for key terms to help you more quickly understand the worldbuilding and lore.

· Top View Mode Experience Optimization: When selecting from multiple overlapping targets in top view mode, a menu will pop up for you to confirm your selection, making production line management more precise and convenient.

· Multi-Mode Facility Placement Optimization: When placing AIC facilities that can toggle between multiple modes, you can now select the desired mode before placing the facility.

· Shared Facility Repair Optimization: Shared zipline facilities will now be automatically repaired while you use them.
